1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Google sign-in data, such as your email, name, and Google user ID;
• account metadata, settings, interface language, and theme preferences;
• provider settings, including encrypted API keys you choose to save;
• text, prompts, files, screenshots, and messages you submit for processing;
• usage information, such as model/provider choices, token counts, and errors;
• billing information handled through Stripe, such as customer and subscription IDs;
• technical data such as browser, device, IP-derived logs, and security events.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

• authenticate you and keep your account available across devices;
• provide translation, rewriting, stylizing, file, and screenshot features;
• save and sync provider settings and encrypted API keys;
• process subscriptions, trials, cancellations, invoices, and billing status;
• monitor performance, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, and secure the service;
• improve product functionality and user-facing features.

3. Google user data

AiTxtLab uses Google sign-in data only to authenticate you, create and maintain your account, display account information, and provide user-facing app functionality. We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for targeted advertising, credit decisions, data broker services, or training AiTxtLab-owned AI models.

4. AI providers and submitted content

AiTxtLab is a bring-your-own-key product. When you select an AI provider, the text, prompts, files, screenshots, and related request data needed to complete your request may be sent to that provider. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. You control which providers you connect and use.

If you use LM Studio locally, the model request is sent from your browser to your local LM Studio server. Billing access checks and account features may still contact AiTxtLab servers.

5. API keys and security

Saved provider API keys are encrypted before being stored. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect account data, but no online service can guarantee perfect security. You should set provider spending limits where available and rotate keys if you believe they may have been exposed.

6. Service providers we use

We use trusted third-party services to operate AiTxtLab, including:

• Google for sign-in;
• Supabase for authentication, database, and account data storage;
• Vercel for hosting and application infrastructure;
• Stripe for checkout, subscriptions, billing portal, tax, fraud, and payments;
• AI providers you choose to connect, such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, DeepSeek, xAI, Alibaba, or local LM Studio.

We share information with these services only as needed to provide, secure, bill, and improve the app.

7. Data retention and deletion

We keep account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, maintain billing records, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account data by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required for billing, security, legal, or operational reasons.

8. Your choices

You can:

• choose which AI providers to connect;
• remove or rotate saved provider API keys;
• cancel billing through the Stripe billing portal when available;
• request account data deletion by contacting us;
• stop using the service at any time.

9. Children

AiTxtLab is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

10. International use

AiTxtLab and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. By using the service, you understand that information may be transferred and processed where our providers operate.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. If changes are material, we will make a reasonable effort to notify users in the app or by updating this page.
